William Thomas “Bill” Weaver, 79, passed away at his home Monday, March 13, 2023. He was born May 20, 1943, in Zanesville to the late Ralph E. and Julia Ross Weaver. Bill was a hard worker, having worked as a diesel mechanic for Conn’s Bus Transit and Trailway. He also worked for National Gas and Oil, which later became The Energy Co-op. After his retirement from there he worked at ABC Siteworks.
Bill loved to fly. He built numerous airplanes and enjoyed flying. His two most remembered flights were flying dressed as Santa Claus and dropping out toys to the kids at the Christmas Tree Farm and flying through the handles of the Longaberger Basket. He also enjoyed building model airplanes and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Surviving are two daughters Stacia (Ray) Gorsuch and Brooke (Daniel) Dotson; caregiver and the love of his life Kitty Weaver; two brothers: Ralph Weaver and Mark Weaver; two sisters: Shirley Sibbring and Sylvia (Donald) Cullins; and one grandchild Evan (Marie) Gorsuch.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Tricia Ballenger.
