Vivian Nader (November 29, 1926 – May 9, 2011)


Vivian Nader, 84 of Zanesville, OH died at 3:10pm Monday, May 09, 2011 following a brief illness at Genesis Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville, OH.
She was born Monday, November 29, 1926 in Zanesville, the daughter of Virgil and Rose (Rocca) Moore. She married Albert “Al” Nader on Thursday July 4, 1957. Vivian was a devout Christian and attended Church of Christ in Christian Union growing up where she taught Sunday school. Later she attended St. Thomas Catholic church with her husband and family. Vivian graduated from Greenville Bible College in Illinois and received a bachelor of science degree in education. Vivian taught elementary school for Zanesville City Schools for 28 years and touched the lives of almost 1,000 students. She truly enjoyed teaching. Vivian also enjoyed crafts, painting and attending bible study with the “Golden Girls,” her two sisters-in-law.
She is survived by two sons Andy (Colleen) Nader and Mark Nader both of Zanesville. Five grandchildren Megan, Abby, MacKenzie, Mason and Mitchell. A brother Don (Charlotte) Moore of North Carolina. Three sisters-in-law Pat Moore and Amy Moore both of Zanesville and Betty Moore of Arizona. A brother-in-law Mansor Nader of Zanesville. Many nieces and nephews including Morgan Long, Jane Conn, Penny Spry, Cathy Huggins, Vicky Watts, Gordie Gildow, Terry Gildow, Susanne Moore, and Scott Moore.
In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her husband Albert “Al” Azar Nader who died February 27, 2007, five brothers and sister Earl Moore, Sam Moore, Dave Moore, Bobby Moore and Shirley (Moore) Gildow.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 11 from 6 to 8pm at the Hillis and Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor Wes Kidwell officiating. Burial will conclude in the Mt. Olive Cemetery Zanesville OH.
