Ruby Louise Keller (February 24, 1917 – August 18, 2011)

Ruby Louise Keller, 94, passed away Thursday night, August 18, 2011 at Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care. Ruby was born February 24, 1917 in Adamsville to the late Guy W. and Torria M. Bugg Gaumer. She was employed at A&P during World War II and was employed by F. W. Woolworth Co. for 44 years. She was a member of the Muskingum Co. Chapter #485 Eastern Star where she belonged for more than 50 years and was the former Worthy Matron, Rosa Shrine #8 where she was past Worthy High Priestess, Amaranth Zane Court #36, Girl Scout Leader, 4-H Leader, Y Teens, Volleyball Coach, Royal Neighbors, Banner Camp #618, Brockway Campers & Retirees.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Bertha Lorenia May Glosser of the home, a sister-in-law, Alberta Gaumer of Zanesville, two grandchildren: Sabrina Renee (Joseph B.) Glosser-Brown and Robert Lee (Kim) Glosser, Jr. and two great-grandchildren: Mallory Brooke and Robert Junior (RJ) Glosser; nieces and nephews: Philip J. Barnes of Ashland, Ky, Greg (Judy) Gaumer of Zanesville, Cindy Gaumer (Ronald, Jr.) Harrison of Zanesville, Ted Jenkins of Columbus, Roesta (Geneva) Keller of Hudson, N.C., Judy (C.L.) Parsons of Lenior, N.C., and many great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Spencer Keller in 1986, her brother, Victor James Gaumer, and sisters: Bernice Leota Jenkins and Gladys Lorenia Barnes.
Calling hours will be 1- 4 & 6-8 P.M. Sun. Aug. 21 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W. MILITARY RD., ZANESVILLE. Eastern Star services will be held at 4pm on Sunday and Shrine Services will be held at 6pm on Sunday. Funeral Services will be 11 A.M., Mon. Aug. 22 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Aaron Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
