Robert “Bobby” A. McGee, 55, was surrounded by his family when he was welcomed into Heaven by his father, Big Bill, Monday morning, October 24, 2022, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
Born December 12, 1966, in Zanesville, he was a son of Judy (Crozier) McGee and the late William “Big Bill” McGee. Bobby was a 1985 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and a Baptist by Faith. He was an avid sports fan, from coaching his girls in softball to playing softball at Riverside Park, watching NASCAR, and cheering on his Broncos and Buckeyes. Bobby was a member of the Sons of American Legion and the Dresden River Boyz. He was a weaver for over 20 years at The Longaberger Company, was proud of his employment in the oil field and more recently the grounds keeper at Vista View Golf Course.
Surviving is his mother, Judy McGee; three daughters, Tristin (Josh) Baker, Ashtin McGee and Kieranda McGee; six grandchildren, Casen, Clayten, Callen and Creeden Baker, McKynlie Sheck and Daphne Maurer; a brother, Bill (Paula) McGee; a niece, Makayla (Taylor) Brown; a nephew, Tyler (Alana) McGee; mothers of his children, Valerie Krouskoupf and Marticia Robinson; and too many friends to mention.
In addition to his father, Bobby was preceded in death by an infant brother & many friends that he lost along the way.
Friends and family may call 1:00pm till 6:00pm Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Following the calling hours at 6:30pm a celebration of life service will be held at the American Legion, 1384 Main Street, Dresden, Ohio.
