N. Pauline Gillogly, Chandlersville

Pauline Gillogly, 89, Claysville Road, Chandlersville passed away 1:03 am October 14, 2011 at Genesis Hospice, Zanesville.

She was born Dec. 17, 1921, at Harrietsville, OH the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Ann Addlespurger Ullman.

Pauline was a graduate of Chandlersville High School and of the Oxford Business Institute of Chicago and she worked at the Gillogly General Store in Chandlersville.

She was a member of the Chandlersville United Methodist Church, Women and Friendship Circle. For 60 + years, she was a member of the Ohio Eastern Star, Olive Branch #251 and she did lots of needle work and crocheling before she lost her eye sight, she was noted for making slippers for all of her friends.

Pauline is survived by her many friends and family including her nephew
Bernard (Ruth) Spence of Marietta and special friends Junior Depuy and Linda Coffee.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer W. Gillogly who passed away in 1966, her sister Sylvia Spence, brothers Ralph and Sumner Ullman, her niece Virginia Ashley, nephew James Lewis Spence and her special friends Wayne and Martha Coffey.

Olive Branch Chapter 251 OES will hold services at 6pm Saturday evening.

Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Thompson-Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday with Rev. Kenny Ogg officiating. Burial will follow in Chandlersville Cemetery.
