Mary Louise Young

Mary Louise Young, 62 of Zanesville went to be with her Lord at 7:25 AM Friday, January 28, 2022 at Genesis Healthcare following a long illness.

She was born March 2, 1959 in Caldwell Ohio the daughter of Ed Roehrig and  Jean Anderson.

Mary was a member of the Freedom City Church where she was very strong in her faith. She was employed at one time as a florist for South Village Floral and later worked for 15 years at Northside Pharmacy. Mary never knew a stranger, loved everyone regardless of their background and lit up the room when she walked in. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who truly held the family together.

In addition to her mother, Mary is survived by her husband of 46 years, Harold Adrian “Skip” Young Jr., her two children, Heather (Damon) Milstead and Harold Adrian Young III; grandchildren, Dylan (Lydia Fink) Milstead & Emma Milstead; her siblings, Lilly Sidwell, Nelson Roehrig, John Anderson, Brenda (Howard) Morosco, & Tracy (Rodney) Postlewait; a brother-in-law, Gerald (Peggy) Young and her step-mother Carrie (Bill) Horn.  She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, Dennis Roehrig and Eddie Roehrig and her step-father, John Anderson.

Visitation will be held 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 4, 2022 with funeral service at 11:00 AM on  Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home  with Pastor Bobby Shaw officiating. Burial will conclude at the St. Paul Cemetery.
