Mary L. Ross (February 27, 1916 – June 28, 2011)

Mary L. Ross, 95, went to be with the Lord at Emeritus at North Hills on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. She was formerly of Sherwood Drive.

She was born in Zanesville, February 27, 1916 to the late Patrick A. Coffey and Helen M. Winn.
She and her husband were the former owners of Ross Service Station on Dryden Rd for many years. A member of the Brighton Presbyterian Church for over 60 years Mary was active as a Deacon and a volunteer at Good Samaritan Medical Center for 25 years.

Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Bob and Jean Ross, Grandchildren Jeffrey (Molly) Ross and Rebecca (Donnie) Hina, Great grandchildren, Dylan and Spencer Ross, Peyton and Hayley Hina and a stepsister Lura Smith, special niece and nephew Dorothy Jean Cook and John Coffey and several other nieces and nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Richard F. Ross who died August 31, 1972 and her brothers Pat, Paul, Jack and Bill Coffey.

Visitation will be held 10:00 AM till time of service at 12:00 Noon Saturday July 2, 2011 at Brighton Presbyterian Church with Pastor Sue Ellen Skinner officiating. Following the service Mary will be laid to rest, next to her husband at Zanesville Memorial Park. The family is being served by the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to Brighton Presbyterian Church or Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care.
