Logan G. Taylor, 92, Of Chandlersville passed away at 7:25 pm Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

Logan was born on the family farm, April 28, 1919, the son of the late Clarence Leo and Elsie Lee Taylor.
He was a lifetime area farmer and a follower of area antique tractor and gas engine clubs, a 75 year member of the Carlwick Grange, a member of the ASCS for several years and Logan served his country in the US Army during WW II.
He is survived by his wife Eunice (Hallgren) Taylor whom he married April 7, 1946, a marriage of 65 years; his children Karen (Randy) Shilling of Zanesville, Dwight Taylor (Debbie Kirsch) of Chandlersville and Karl Dean Taylor of Chandlersville and Melanie (Jesse) Glosser of Zanesville; his grandchildren Derek Shilling, Deron Shilling, Sherry Gilkerson, Brian Taylor, Shana Brooks, and Corey Brooks and his Great Grandchildren Paige Gilkerson and Skyler Logan Gilkerson

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers Forest Taylor, Allen Taylor, Bruce Taylor, and Calvin Taylor and his sisters Vera Ramsey and June Neal.

Friends may call 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 on Friday, July 1, at Thompson Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls, where the funeral will be 11 am Saturday with the Rev Kenneth Ogg officiating and burial in Chandlersville Cemetery.
