Linda Sue Odlivak (December 24, 1943 – August 21, 2011)

HILLIS & HARDWICK FUNERAL HOME OBIT:

Linda Sue Odlivak, 67 of Zanesville , OH died 7:15 AM Sunday, August 21, 2011 at her residence.

She was born Friday, December 24, 1943 in Evarts KY the daughter of Curtis J. and Beulah T. (Trosper) Blanton.

Linda was employed as a phlebotomist with Labcorp, and was previously employed with Lear Corp., and was a receptionist for Muskingum College. She enjoyed playing the piano & played for many years at the Southside Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, reading, keeping up with current events and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband Dean Odlivak of the home, who she married March 5th 1966, two children, Wendy (Mark) Odlivak-Wilson of Lancaster and David (Melissa) Odlivak of Zanesville; 2 grandchildren Zakkary and Kristen Odlivak; a brother Glen (Debbie) Blanton of Chandlersville, a sister Brenda (Jeff) Bills of Indiana, several nieces, nephews, cousins and her three feline friends Sunshine, Princess and Krinkles. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by a brother James Blanton and a niece Robin Bills.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 23rd from 4 to 7pm at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave. where funeral services will be held 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 with Chaplain Karl Hartmann officiating. Burial will conclude in the Woodlawn Cemetery Zanesville OH .
