Kenneth R. Dillon

Kenneth Ray Dillon, 80 of Blue Rock, passed away peacefully at his home on February 10, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

Kenneth was born on June 29, 1941 in Pocahontas, Arkansas.  He is the son of the late Raymond and Dora (Lendhart) Dillon.  He was the owner and operator of Dillon’s Water and Oil Field Service.  He retired from JB Hunt Trucking, where he worked as a truck driver and was awarded with the ‘2 Million Safe Miles’ award. He attended the Gaysport United Methodist Church.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Sarah Jean (French) Dillon, whom he married on January 1, 1992; his six sons, Clinton (Shelia) Dillon, Brian (Mindy) Dillon, Dean Dillon, Adam Dillon, Mark (Shanie) Merew, and Myles Merew; his daughter, Kristy (Joe) Campbell; fourteen grandchildren, Douglas, Anna, Stephanie, Brian Jr., Joshua, Matthew, Joel, Sunday Grace, Devin, Kyla, Austin, Logan, Myles “LJ” and Mason; numerous step grandchildren, and great grandchildren; as well as his four sisters, Dorothy Lyon, Kathryn Crawford, L. Sue Lyon and Barbara Boug.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by an infant sister, Georgia Faye Dillon.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kenneth’s name to Genesis Hospice, 751 Forest Ave., Zanesville, OH, 43701.

Visitations will be 2 to 5 pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.
