Joseph Kopchak (March 4, 1921 – August 7, 2011)

Joseph Kopchak, 90, of Zanesville, died August 7 at his home after a lengthy illness. Joe was retired from Bethesda Hospital. For over 60 years he was an active member of Jehovah’s Witnesses where he enjoyed helping others learn about the Bible.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Edith, parents Onek and Edna, brother Walter and sister Anna Shuey. He is survived by his 3 children, JoAnn (Alan) Mokry of Grove City, Joey (Sue) and Rick (Carrie) of Zanesville, brothers Andy, Harry, sister Helen Ellis, grandchildren Jennifer (Tim) Atkinson, Stephanie (Ben) Page, Aaron (Abbey) Kopchak, Rebekah (Jonathan) Barrick, Whitney Kopchak, great-grandchildren, Caitlyn and Logan Page, Hunter, Ella and Landon Kopchak.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday August 13 at 1:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 1705 Pine St.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the local Hospice.
