John “Woody” Woodworth
John “Woody” Charles Woodworth, 56 of Philo, passed away unexpectedly on Monday February 7, 2022 at his residence.
He was born on March 24, 1965, in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Ronald Woodworth and Mary (Latchaw) Woodworth. John was a jack of all trades and would take on any task thrown at him with a smile on his face. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He loved spending time with family, being outdoors, and taking long rides on his Harley.
He is survived by his daughter, Brittany (Jarod) Mayle; grandchildren, Emma Watson, Blayze Watson, Macon Watson, and Avayian Mayle; brother, Scott Hedges; 3 nieces, Natasha (Tyler Luallen) Olden, Meagan (Dave Clark) Lehner, and Amanda (Will Torres) Lanning; nephew, Richard (Cassi) Cochrun III; close friend, Tim McClellan; several great nieces and nephews; a great-great nephew; many friends; and his special fur baby, Mister.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Cochrun II; sister, Linda Lehner; and his great-great niece, Azaria Hunter.
In keeping with his wishes, his body will be cremated. Fondales Tavern will be hosting a Celebration of Life in his honor on March 12th, 2022 from 12:00- 4:00 PM at 203 Water Street. Duncan Falls, Ohio.
