Howard Goodin,85, of Crooksville passed away on Wednesday August 17, 2011 in New Lexington.
Howard was born in Zanesville on August 8, 1926 to the late Crock and Odie Hiles Goodin. Howard was a hard worker having been employed by Belden Brick in Somerset, Old Sand Bank on Wilburn Road, and Underwoodâ€™s Dairy Farm for many years. He really enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by four daughters Susie Richards, Rosie (Danny) Savage, Dolly (Tom) Price, and Jessy Goodin, a son Jason (Wendy) Goodin of Crooksville. His wife Roberta Kinney Goodin of Crooksville, A special grandson Tim Richards of Crooksville, a daughter-in-law Kathy Goodin of Roseville, 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. A brother Richard (Billy) Goodin of New Lexington, three sisters Ruth Ann (Robby) Robinson of Roseville, Eleanor â€œTombowâ€ Bishop of Moxahala and Maxine (Walter) Bringardner of New Lexington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Pam Goodin, a son John Goodin, a grandson Josh Goodin, a great-granddaughter Keisha Kinney, and a great-grandson Austin Kinney.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8pm on Monday August 22 at THE CROOKSVILLE CHAPEL OF THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 207 BURLEY STREET CROOKSVILLE. Services will be held at the funeral home at 11am on Tuesday, August 23 with Rev. John Sellers officiating. Burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery.
