Ernest F. Noll (November 24, 1920 – October 15, 2010)


Ernest F. Noll, 89 of Zanesville , OH died 9:00 PM Friday, October 15, 2010 at Muskingum County Home Zanesville OH following a long illness.

He was born Wednesday, November 24, 1920 in Dexter City OH the son of John A. and Mary E.(Swick) Noll.

He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church where he was a former member of the St. Thomas Holy Name Society. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was retired after 19 years at David Davies Meat Packing and also was employed for 15 years at McGraw Edison. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Noll is survived by three sons; Richard Noll, Donald Noll both of Zanesville and Robert (Janice) Noll of Poland, OH; and a daughter Mary Jane Noll of Zanesville. Four granddaughters Julianne, Molly, Christina and Amy. Preceded in death in addition to his parents were his wife Marguerite Guinsler Noll who died in 1986; six sisters and one brother.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 pm with Christian Vigil service at 3:30pm on Monday Oct. 18th at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00am on Tuesday Oct. 19th at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 144 North Fifth Street. Burial will conclude in the Mount Calvary Cemetery Zanesville OH .
