Dale Hefner, 62 of Cambridge, passed away peacefully at the Southeastern Medical Center on February 22, 2023.
Dale was born on December 2, 1960 in Barberton, Ohio. He is the son of the late Earl Hefner and Wilma Erb of St. Mary’s, WV. Dale has been at the Cambridge Developmental Center since December of 1998.
Dale is survived by his mother, Wilma Erb; his siblings, Dewayne “Joe” (Samantha) Hefner, Earl (Tammy) Hefner, Sharon (Terry) Childers, Teresa Williamson; his step-siblings, Anthony Erb, Timothy Erb, and Vicky (Jeff) Binegar; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Dale is preceded in death by his father, Earl Hefner; as well as his brother, Denny Kukich.
Visitations will be from 12:30 to 1:30 Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord, 63 West Main Street, New Concord, Ohio 43762.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 2580 Romig Road, Akron, Ohio 44320. Brother Dennis Elkins will officiate the service. Dale will be laid to rest beside his father in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
