COSHOCTON COUNTY, Ohio– Authorities in Coshocton County announced Thursday that burglary charges have been filed against 31-year-old Jordan J. Storms of Mansfield .
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office reports on Tuesday, February 21st at 8:03 p.m. they received a 911 call in reference to a hit/skip accident on SR 643 near TR 195 in Keene Township. The caller described the vehicle as a white SUV.
While responding, The Sheriff’s Office received additional calls in regards to a vehicle matching the description that crashed into a garage. The vehicle fled the scene and crashed further down the road, disabling the vehicle. Shortly after, The Sheriff’s Office received a call in regards to a burglary in progress in the same area as the accidents.
Authorities said once on scene, Deputies located Storms inside a residence in the 32000 block of SR 643 and determined that he had forced entry into the home.
More charges are anticipated after the review from the Coshocton County Prosecutors Office.
