Zanesville, OH- Eastside Community Ministry is hosting their Chair-ity Auction at the Colony Square Mall.
There will be 21 items for in-person bidding at the mall which takes place at 2 pm Friday. They also have an online auction that is currently going on.
“We have 89 items on our online auction right now. That has been going on since February 13th, and we’re going to close that up Friday, February 24th, starting at 6 o’clock. It is really simple to bid on the items, you just go to our website eastsideministry.org, get registered through Auction Ohio, and you can start bidding on your favorite item,” executive director, Jamie Trout, said.
If you want to check out some of the online items in person, they are at the mall right now along with the live auction chairs. There are no limits on the number of bids you can make. Many local businesses including banks, nursing homes and insurance companies are supporting the fundraiser. Each chair has their own unique incentive.
“Our kids stepped up from our youth program and made little chairs out of popsicle sticks and local businesses were able to help sponsor them. So, lots of good gift cards to restaurants and businesses, gas stations, so, something for everybody,” stated Trout.
If you win any of the items, pickup will be at the mall on Saturday between 11-1. Money goes to support their everyday programs including Food Pantry, Clothing Bank, and their year around youth program.
