ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce is an organization that links and supports a variety of local businesses and every year they hold a series of events that showcase what they have to offer. Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce President Dana Matz announced this year’s Chamber Week and shared how businesses can benefit.
“Chamber Week is a week-long celebration of our businesses and our community,” Matz said. “It’s an opportunity for us to make people aware of our services and for us to celebrate the businesses in our community. One thing that coincides with chamber week is the ACES award. And the ACES is the ‘Award for Community and Economic Success.’”
The ACES Award celebrates and recognizes businesses that have shown the largest growth.
Chamber Week will take place March 13th through March 17th at different member venues to provide opportunities for member businesses to socialize and network while experiencing a variety of surroundings.
“Each day we will have an activity for our members. It starts out very simple with a chamber breakfast on Monday, where we are going to educate our members, whether they’re new or existing, about all of the services that the chamber provides and all of the affiliates we work with,” Matz said.
The event has expanded from a one-day event to better serve its members and allow for networking and recruitment.
