Two men are in custody in Guernsey County after a traffic stop for an equipment violation in the Village of Senecaville uncovered drugs.
Sheriff Jeffrey Paden said that during the stop a sergeant recognized the passenger in the vehicle as 37-year-old Brandon Rossiter, of Byesville, a wanted fugitive known to be armed and dangerous. He was placed under arrest.
A search of the vehicle yielded 93 grams of crystal methamphetamines with a street value of over $3,000. A loaded firearm was also recovered as well as suspected cocaine, items for distributing narcotics and U.S. currency.
Rossiter has been charged with aggravated possession of drugs, possession of cocaine, having weapons under disability and improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle 38-year-old Kenneth Carter has been charged with aggravated possession of drugs and possession of cocaine.
