ZANESVILLE, OH- The Bishop Rosecrans girl’s and boy’s basketball teams had home games tonight against Liberty Christian Academy. Let’s get to the highlights starting with the girl’s.

Rosecrans girl’s looking to stay over .500

We pick it up third quarter a 20 point bishops lead, entry pass goes to McLaughlin and she finds Bernett and the Junior guard scores. Textbook offense from the bishops.

They had it rolling all night, look on the defensive end Alaina Berry swipes it away and goes the length of the floor for the lay-up.

Later in the quarter a 40-12 Rosecrans lead, it’s Berry again trying the drive and the missed shot turns into an assist to Jenna McLaughlin she had 14 in the game.

Once again fine passing from the bishops Berry to McLaughlin to Chloe Zemba. She gets the bucket to fall. Rosecrans goes onto win in dominating fashion 55-14. They’ll be back in action next Tuesday at Fairfield Christian Academy.

Now to the boys game looking to stay undefeated.

Early first quarter a 1-0 Rosecrans lead Josh Onabanjo nails a pull up mid range jumper to give liberty the lead.

Now bishops ball Labishek finds Weston Hartman and he drills the triple. It was all Hartman and Brendan Bernath in the first quarter.

Here he finds Bernath for the three pointer and that is this Rosecrans offense folks. Inside out and shoot the three with efficiency.

Later in the quarter James Goggin passes it to Hartman in the corner and he’s looking like Ray Allen. Burrows the corner three.

10-2 Bishops lead Xander Daniels comes up for the screen and Grady Labishek uses it to perfection driving to the cup and finishing with the right hand.

Onabanjo says whatever you can do, I can do better he goes coast to coast and finishes the crafty lay up. 13-5 Rosecrans lead.

And look who it is again Hartman from deep. Hartman and Bernath combined for 16 in the first quarter and the Bishops roll to a 65-53 win.
