GIRL’S BASKETBALL:

SHERIDAN 46
BISHOP WATTERSON 28

Opening night for Sheridan player introductions, you know they’re getting more creative with the handshakes nowadays.

Early first quarter no score good ball movement by the generals, Macie Forgrave dishes it to Ava heller and she finds Nora Saffell who lays it in for two.

Now later in the quarter Forgrave on the drive and look at the finish! A hard contact layup and gets it to drop.

6-4 Bishop Watterson lead, Jamisyn Stinson passes it to Payton Powell and she moves around the defender and puts in a crafty two points off the glass.

Nearing the final minutes of the first quarter Heller finds Stinson and she burries the long range three.

10-9 Watterson after one quarter and they were dominate on the offensive boards in the first half, look at these efforts on the glass and the putback goes in.

However it’s tough to stop one of the best players in the state of Ohio. Stinson again drains the triple. She’d finish with 20 on the night and Sheridan wins the season opener 46-28.
