Local News Stories

ZANESVILLE, OH – After Thursday’s Thanksgiving feasts, many will make their lists, check them twice, and head out Friday for a day of shopping filled with sales, specials, and everything in between.

With one of the biggest shopping days of the year on the horizon, Colony Sqaure Mall is ready to welcome shoppers.

The mall will be open from 8 AM until 9 PM with several shops opening even earlier and featuring plenty of Black Friday bargains and even the opportunity to win $1,000 in gift cards to the mall’s retailers.

“In addition to traditional Black Friday specials we have going on, exclusive sales from our retailers and we do have a craft and vendor show happening this weekend, on all day Friday and Saturday. There will be dozens of crafters and vendors set up throughout the mall’s common area, so we want to remind guests to make sure you walk the mall to be able to shop at all those great vendors,” Colony Square Mall General Manager Jessica Brailer said.

Mall and store hours, as well as more information about all the holiday events and fun they’ll be hosting can be found on the mall’s website

“At Colony Square Mall, we definitely do have a lot of fun, all year round and especially during the holidays. We are a great place for the community to come out and gather and we are also hosting the angel tree here and so it’s just a way of being a place for the community to come together and enjoy traditions and to make new memories together, So we do have karaoke coming up, Christmas karaoke on a couple Wednesdays here through the season. Some more live entertainment from local choirs and performers and also another craft and vendor show,” Brailer told us.
