CORNING, OH- The Miller football team maybe short in numbers but they have all the heart a football team needs. This up and coming football team is starting to find their way under second year Head Coach Dominic Scott.

With sophomore quarterback Logan Doughty and almost the entire offensive line, Coach Scott will look to lean on the run game to get him through the season. After not having the season they wanted last year the team is said to have more energy than ever and is ready to make some noise.

“There is definitely more energy. I think with me being a second year head coach, and with the kids coming in knowing my expectations. What I want from them we jell together better. We have had a lot of kids join which is great.

That have came who did not play last year, but also the returners that I have had. All offseason I have preached you know the boys were talking about the weight room. Which I preached I was always out in the weight-room with them.

But just getting them excited, I need to be excited you know? I want my coaches to be excited when we show up. So know  Im a little more comfortable in my second year. Just one of things I want to focus on is positivity and getting these guys ready for week 1″. Said Coach Scott.

“ Top of the MSL for sure. I think we have all the players, and if we just keep our heads up and stay in the weight room, and stay on the field working hard we can get there”. Said Logan Doughty

“ For these guys I want them to take it one game at a time. Week 1 we play Fed Hock I want to go in and beat Fed Hock. Once we get into our league games ,and everything. We are young, and compete I want these guys to go out and compete. Not necessarily worry about the scoreboard from the beginning ya know? Hope that these guys are just ready to play every week.

“These guys are hungry they want to play football. And they’re excited for instance at 7:30 I want these guys out on the field. They’re out here by about 7:25 stretching and getting ready. So it shows their dedication, and they’re ready to learn and have a successful season”. Said Coach Scott
