CAMBRIDGE, Ohio- Parnell and Associates is celebrating 50 years of service!

They hosted a celebration on June 10th in which they closed off the street in front of their offices for food, fun, and plenty of celebration with employees, customers, family, friends and people from the communities they serve!

The family-owned paving business serves Cambridge and surrounding communities throughout Southeastern Ohio.

Started and originally run by Annette and Tom Parnell, they offer a variety of commercial, industrial, residential, and government paving and repair services.

Founder and company President Tom Parnell says the community impact has been tremendous.

“A lot of good people have supported us and we worked hard to try to be fair to the customers and it’s worked out so far. So far it’s been successful. We started out with nothing, ” he said

In addition to the work they do, Parnell & Associates are also proud supporters of multiple charitable organizations including United Way and the Salvation Army.

“We are proud supporters of United Way, Rotary, Salvation Army, Senior Center. Our church is real important to us. And we love to give back to the community,” Penny Parnell told us.

We give to all the schools to help out with the kids. For boxed lunches, the parent or parents go to the Salvation Army every day and make boxed lunches during the summer,” Larry Parnell said.

Penny Parnell notes that her parents were recently awarded the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Public Service and the business itself was awarded the Chamber Member of the Week a few weeks ago.

The Parnells look forward to continuing to serve Southeastern Ohio and thank their loyal employees and customers for their continues patronage and support!
