WHIZ Sports 6-1: Three Local High School Coaches Earn Award From OHSAA

Three of our local high school sports coaches received a prestigious honor from the state of Ohio.

The OHSAA Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity Award goes to one coach per sport in the state oh Ohio. The recipients are selected by coaches associations throughout the school year, according to a press release from the OHSAA.

The John Glenn Muskies had two award winners. Rich Bubenchik took home honors for girls golf while Randy Larrick was the award recipient for softball. Also, lakewood’s Dan Sekerak won the award for boys cross country.
