DRESDEN, OH- It was nothing but sunshine which made for perfect baseball weather as the Sheridan Generals traveled to Tri-Valley to take on the Scotties.
It was all defense to start things off with both teams making spectacular plays left and right starting off with Luke Lyall he making a diving catch for out three in the first inning. Tri-Valley would continue the momentum with at the plate Hansel Holmes swung for the fences and hit it all the way to the warning track for a nice double to put the Scotties in position to score. They would later go up 1-0.
The score would stay tight for the next couple innings but the Generals would fight back and take control in the later innings. They would score 7 runs throughout the rest of the game to just 1 for the Scotties.
Sheridan would go on to defeat Tri-Valley in this one 7-2.
