ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Northside Pharmacy on Bell Street will be closing down and opening a new location.
The pharmacy will begin its closure starting Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and will be transferring to Taylor Street.
Director of Northside Pharmacies, EJ Stoepfel, explained the temporary process for patients to pick up or deliver their prescription in the meantime.
“Then for Friday the 22nd and the 23rd Saturday and the 24th Sunday, all of those prescriptions that would have been filled at Bell Street can be filled at Northside Maysville Pharmacy, and then we will open this new location at nine o’clock on the 25th, which is Monday. And then we will open 24/7,” Stoepfel stated.
CEO and President of Genesis Healthcare System, Matthew Perry, talked about why they are closing the location on Bell Street and how this will help broaden space for the patients.
“The Bell Street store has really outgrown the space that it had so this new location gives us a lot more space, gives us much more easier in and out access for our patients and really allows us to continue to expand the service that we offer our community,” Perry said.
The new Northside Pharmacy will be located at 721 Taylor Street. The team will also be sending out text and pre recorded messages to remind customers of the move.
Stoepfel said if patients have any questions or concerns, they can call the regular Bell Street number and someone will be able to assist and transfer them to the Maysville location.
