Coshocton man injured in motorcycle accident

COSHOCTON COUNTY, Ohio–Authorities in Coshocton County are investigating a two vehicle accident.

It happened just before 11:00 a.m. Monday at the intersection of S 6th St and Elm St.  

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office reported that 27-year-old Scott Jennings of Coshocton was operating a 2021 Kawasaki motorcycle southbound on S 6th St. Authorities said 25-year-old Taylor Mooers of Coshocton was driving her 2006 Chevy and was traveling southbound on S 6th St in front of Mr. Jennings.

Mooers started to turn left onto Elm St when Jennings tried to pass Mooers on the left-hand side and struck her vehicle. 

Authorities said Jennings was transported by Coshocton EMS to Coshocton County Regional Medical Center.  He then was transported to Grant Hospital in Columbus.   Mooers was not injured in the accident. 

The Sheriff’s Office reports that Jennings will be cited for Improper Passing, Driving without a License and No Motorcycle Endorsement.
