Groundhogs Split on Predictions

Local News Stories

The groundhogs can’t seem to agree on whether they’ll be an early spring or six more weeks of winter.

At a ceremony from Gobbler’s Knob in Pennsylvania, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, meaning we can expect six more weeks of winter. Phil’s prediction last year also called for six more weeks of winter.

In Marion, Ohio Buckeye Chuck failed to see his shadow meaning we will start to see some early spring weather.

After what’s predicted in our forecast for the rest of this week let us hope that Chuck is correct.
