More than 1,000 plows are out across Ohio plowing and treating roads.
The Ohio Department of Transportation is asking that you avoid travel if possible. If you must go out allow plenty of extra time for travel and give crews room to work.
ODOT said that pavement temperatures are below freezing and slick spots are likely, particularly on ramps and bridges, which freeze before surface roads. As long as snow is still falling drivers should expect roads to be snow covered and use extreme caution if travel is necessary.
