GAME #1: WEST MUSKINGUM TORNADOES VS. MORGAN RAIDERS

ZANESVILLE, O.H.- The stage was set for the West Muskingum Tornadoes to host the Morgan Raiders in boys basketball.

West Muskingum and Morgan traded early buckets down in the paint. Colin Jones was a force down low for the Raiders, making moves and scoring in the post.

West Muskingum looked to Luke Pattison to shoulder the load for the Tornadoes, he scored a team-high 19 points.

Both teams continued to trade baskets and respond to each score through the first two quarters.

West Muskingum took a two point lead into halftime and would come out victorious over Morgan with a 65-53 win.

GAME #2: BISHOP ROSECRANS BISHOPS VS. HARVEST PREP WARRIORS

ZANESVILLE, O.H.- The Harvest Prep Warriors took a lead early on against the Bishop Rosecrans Bishops, but the home team did not give up.

Kevin Holmes, Brandon Roddy, and Adonus Abrams made tough plays on both sides of the court to put the road team up in the first quarter.

But, good playmaking by Grady Labishek created opportunities for the Bishops to score and cut into the lead.

Tommy Bernath played a big role in the comeback hope, scoring a couple baskets and drawing fouls while Weston Hartman shouldered the scoring load for Bishop Rosecrans, pouring in 28 points.

But this one would end up being all Harvest Prep, taking this one on the road over Bishop Rosecrans 84-48.
