COSHOCTON COUNTY, Ohio–The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a one vehicle accident that injured a Coshocton man.
It happened Thursday just before 1:30 p.m. near State Route 541 and State Route 60.
Authorities said 63-year-old Randy Conklin of Warsaw was driving a 2002 Toyota Rav4 when the vehicle broke down.
Deputies said a passenger in the vehicle, 66-year-old Owen Conklin of Coshocton, got out of the vehicle to help the driver guide the vehicle back down the hill. Authorities said while doing so he was struck by the vehicle.
He was transported by Coshocton County EMS to Genesis Hospital with unknown injuries.
Assisting the Sheriff’s Office at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, Walhonding Valley Fire District and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
