Fairfield Union Outlasts Tornados in Second Half

ZANESVILLE, OH. The Fairfield Union girls basketball team defeated West Muskingum Wednesday night 46-32 to advance their record to 10-0. West Muskingum provided a strong effort throughout the night to counter the Falcons potent offensive attack. Including a near 8-0 run to finish the second quarter and cut the Tornados deficit to just four points at halftime 23-19, after trailing by 11 points at the end of the end of the first quarter.

West Muskingum was led on offense by senior Brooke Pauley and junior Zoie Settles.

West Muskingum suffers their fourth defeat of the season and fall to 7-4 overall. Next up, West Muskingum will take on Lakewood after a long layover, Monday, January, 10th at 7:30pm.
