The John Glenn Muskies took top honors at this year’s Jim Vejsicky Memorial Golf Tournament at Jaycee’s Golf Course.
The Muskies shot a 320 on the day to take the top spot. Sheridan took second with a 338 and Maysville third with a 344.
John Glenn was led by Owen Van Fossen who shot a 75. He was also a co-medalist for the event. Other Muskies of note were Noah Dever with an 80 and Adam Johnson with an 81.
The Generals’ Blake Turnes led Sheridan with an 80 while Reed Coconis put up an 84 and Cooper Winders and 86.
The Panthers’ Connor Larimer led Maysville with a 76, followed by an 88 for Owen Lutz and an 89 for Jett Jerles.
The other top medalist for the day was Cadan Pieper of Tri-Valley. The Scottie shot a 75 in his round of golf. Tri-Valley’s team finished the tournament in fourth place.
