It was Granville’s Ella Wigal tied for runner-up honors at the Blue Aces’ Invitational at the Airport Golf Course on Monday.

Wigal shot a 74 behind Kristina Ma from the Columbus School for girls who shot a 72.

Lakewood shot 342 to finish third the team competition and Granville was fifth with 346. Sisters Avery and Abby Thompson led Lakewood with a 79 and 81.

The Granville Boy’s Golf team finished a runner-up during the Newark Catholic Invitational. The Blue Aces totaled a 323, finishing behind St. Charles’ 318.

Charlie Burdreau and Charlie Tell each shot a 76 to tie as runner-up for the Blue Ace’s.

Newark Catholic finished behind Granville with a 343 to tie for third. Brian Luft shot a 78, Max Vanoy 80 and Nathan Riggleman 82.
