Generals Take Lady Falcon Invitational

15 teams represented by 76 players took part in this year’s Lady Falcon Invitational at Pumpkin Vine Golf Course in Lancaster.

Our area was represented by Sheridan and John Glenn High Schools.

Sheridan’s girls squad took first place on the day shooting a 318. They were led by Shauna White White and Meg Saffel who both shot a 78 and Cali Baird and Morgan Cornwell who both shot a 81.

Westfall High School took the second spot followed by John Glenn in third.

The Muskies shot a 340 led by Gracie Milam’s 75. Her score earned her third in overall placing. She trailed Maddie Shoults from Westfall who shot a 67 and Audrey Keplar of Teays Valley who shot a 73.

John Glenn’s Elise Abrams and Abby McCullough both shot an 87 and Addy Burris a 91.

Nichole is WHIZ’s News Director/Anchor. She joined the WHIZ family while attending high school at Bishop Rosecrans, before taking a full-time position in 2005. Nichole is no stranger to the area. She grew up in Corning, Ohio and and graduated from Waynesburg College, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications emphasizing in Sports Broadcasting/Sports Information and Journalism.When not at work Nichole enjoys watching St. Louis Blues hockey, enjoying time with family, spending time outdoors and reading.If Nichole wasn't in broadcasting she'd probably have become a teacher.Nichole is married to a fellow sports fan Brandon. They have two sons Cameron and Xavier.
