ArtCoZ Announces Artist and Musician of the Month

Local News

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Ahead of the First Friday Art Walk in Zanesville, Art Coz has announced this month’s artist and musician of the month.

Zanesville resident Alex Earich has been performing music for many years. He started taking piano lessons when he was 5-years-old. Ever since, his passion for music kept growing as he now has been working on the keyboard.

“Music means a great deal to me. It’s been a passion of mine for most of my life, almost my whole life. I’m happy to share it with the community here on Friday,” Art Coz member and Musician of the Month Alex Earich said.

The Renner Theatre was also put in the spotlight from Art Coz. The Renner is located in downtown Zanesville and has been since the mid 1980’s. The institution puts on many different plays and performances and is a place where people in the community can come together and share and celebrate the arts.

“What I like about The Renner specifically is you don’t have to be just an actress. You don’t have to just have one skill set. All the arts come alive here at The Renner, whether it’s painting backgrounds, performing or sewing. It’s just an outlet,” The Renner Theatre Secretary Shelley Tolliver said.

You can find Alex at the First Friday Art Walk this Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. He will be singing and playing his keyboard outside at 605 Market St.
