The Zanesville Police Department says an area man is facing multiple charges.
Detective Phil Michel says last week a search warrant was executed at 574 Pine Street in connection to a shooting incident on March 1st on Bates Street.
Michel says as a result of that warrant 29-year-old Terrel McConnell was taken into custody. On Friday McConnell was charged in Municipal Court with one county of possession of cocaine, along with a forfeiture specification.
McConnell was taken to the City Jail and his bond is set at $250,000. No other details were released.
