ZANESVILLE, Ohio-The ZAAP gallery in downtown Zanesville is beginning its reopening process.
The gallery closed in April of 2020 due to Covid-19 reasons. They’ve since begun the process of reopening.
“In February we did a soft reopening and we were open eight different days. We had browsers come in, visitors come in, and look at our art. This month we hope to be open a few more days,” explained Director Rosemary Ludt. “We haven’t started our First Friday celebrations yet but hopefully within the next few months we’ll be able to do that.”
The gallery has been a staple in the community for local artists to show their works.
“Right now we are featuring ‘Mini Masterpieces’ in both windows of the gallery and also the front half of the gallery. We have a wall of photography and then the rest of our gallery is filled with assorted member’s art,” Ludt continued.
More information on the gallery’s hours or to schedule an appointment can be made by phone.
