COSHOCTON CO., Ohio–The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that a Warsaw man is facing felony drug charges following a traffic stop.
Authorities said 41-year-old Dustin Dobson has been charged with possession of Methamphetamines, a felony of the second degree.
On Sunday, February 21, the Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Kenilworth Avenue for an equipment violation.
During this traffic stop, K-9 Chili gave a positive indication of the presence of narcotics or narcotic related items. Authorities said a large amount of suspected Methamphetamines were located.
Upon further investigation, the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office obtained and executed a search warrant in the 2400 block of S. 7th Street.
During the execution of the search warrant, a large amount of suspected narcotics, narcotic related items, cash, a firearm, and stolen items were seized.
One male and one female were taken into custody and are being held at the Coshocton County Justice Center. Their names will be released upon the filing of formal charges. .
