MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio-The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center is naming Maddie as its dog of the week.
Maddie is a very playful and loving dog who’s a fan favorite amongst the warden volunteers. She’s captured their hearts in her short time there.
“She came to us on February ninth, she’s approximately two years old. The good thing is that she came to us already spayed, so that’s good for us, she can be adopted right away. She’s a humane case, seized by the humane officer, I think it was a court case. So there’s no hold period on her either so she can be adopted right away. She’s very friendly, she appears to be friendly with other dogs.”, warden representative Bryan Catlin told WHIZ.
Any family adopting her would be welcoming a wonderful presence to their home. She’d make a great fit with any family.
“I think she probably would be good with kids cause she just seems like that type of dog. Probably children, I don’t know about babies, I don’t think babies and dogs get along all that well but that’s just my preference. I think anywhere from middle sized kids up. If you have a yard I always like dogs to have yards.”, Catlin continued.
If you’re interested in adopting Maddie you can make an appointment with the adoption center.
