Local Sports Sports Stories

BYESVILLE, Ohio – To say that Meadowbrook’s first year in the Muskingum Valley League has been a success would be an understatement.

The Colts football team finished the regular season undefeated, claiming the small school division crown. The boys basketball team came into Thursday night with only a single loss in conference play, but remaining undefeated in the division. The Colts clinched a share of the Small School title last Friday night, and a win over West Muskingum on Thursday would secure the Colts’ place as outright division champions in their first season of MVL play.
