ZANESVILLE – The F.O.E. presented checks to both Christ’s Table and Eastside Community Ministries this morning. The organization is happy to assist the two entities that they feel do so much locally.

“They do a lot for Zanesville and the Muskingum County area and its something that we do not only locally but we do nationally too but we like to do what we can locally for the people in our area,” F.O.E President Lance Kennedy said.

Kennedy said these donations of funds go with the Order’s credo and they are always looking to do so.

“Basically people helping people is our motto and we do what we can for the community and in the nation. Like Lance said, we do it too. For the community, we do what we can around here to take care of Christ’s Table and Eastside Ministries and Salvation Army; those types of organizations is the ones we help and they have be a 501c3 charity organization to be eligible to get any of these grants,” F.O.E. Secretary Bill Rucker said.

The Fraternal Order of the Eagles is looking for members. Anyone is welcome to apply and the applications can be picked up at the office.
