Animal Shelter Society Introduces Pet of the Week

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Animal Shelter Society introduces Rosalyn as the Pet of The Week. Rosalyn is a 5 year old female cat looking for her forever home.

The Feline Frenzy Adoption Special, which is sponsored by Attorney Sherry Ryan, makes Rosalyn’s adoption fee only $5. Rosalyn came to the shelter back in August and would love to come home with you.

“The unfortunate thing is that her family was moving and they couldn’t take her with them. So those are some of the things that do happen here at the shelter. So Rosalyn is very curious as you can tell. She is a little bit hesitant, she’s a little bit laid back with her surroundings. But right now she’s purring and she would make someone a great home. She doesn’t have really any issues with any dogs or cats,” Board of Directors Secretary April Cohagen-Gibson said.

The Animal Shelter Society is also looking forward to their next drive through fundraising event that will be held in December.

“We’ve designed our first annual Santa Paws. And that’s going to be held on Saturday December the 5th from 10 am to 1 pm. And you can just drive through our parking lot here at the shelter and you can drop off the items that are needed… And all that can be found on our website and it’s all listed there.”

The Animal Shelter Society is overwhelmed with the support they have received and would like to thank everyone who helped make their first annual Barktober Fest a success.
