We also have the high dose flu shot, we just got a shipment in. This year, sometimes the flu shots have not come in bulk, they have come in different little shipments. So this is our final shipment that we got yesterday, that we received yesterday. And wanted to get the word out that we do have some now,” Rambo Memorial Health Center Director Gloria Brown said.
This year it is more important than ever to get your flu shot, with so many symptoms mirroring that of COVID-19 getting the vaccination is the best way to avoid falling ill with the flu.
“We do request that you call ahead and by that I mean you could even be in the parking lot and call ahead and say ‘is it okay for us to come in’. And just because we just know that there’s lots more people out there that still need to get them and whether they’re putting it off or just not making time for it in their schedule. It’s just very very important this year that they get them.”
