ZANESVILLE, Ohio-The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville is holding its Big Day of Giving on November 20th.
The event is completely virtual and will feature reverse raffles open to the public. Participants will have one week to sign up on the program’s website.
“We are one week away, the event launches on Monday the 16th so people can start logging in and viewing bid items and making bids on the items we have up for auction. Then really, towards the end of the week on Friday, November 20th is when the bulk of our activities for that event will be. We’re partnering with WHIZ, and we’re so thankful for that partnership, from 10 – 4 on November 20th.”
Auction items include Buckeye gear, local gifts and a weekend getaway to Hocking Hills. The importance of celebrating the volunteers and sponsors is not lost on Mainini.
“I think it’s important to keep our community engaged and keep our momentum going. I think a lot of agencies right now are recreating how things are looking for them, and this is our way to pivot a little bit and still engage our sponsors, our local business partners and the people who really support the youth, of course, and support our mission.”
Registration for the Big Day of Giving takes place on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville website.
