Local Baker Makes Use of Farmers Market

Local News

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Blue Ribbon Farmers Market is an opportunity for locals to show off their skills.

One such local is Shirley Etters, a lifelong baker and educational aide for Maysville schools. Etters sells just about every baked good you could think of.

“I sell cookies and buckeyes, all kinds of cookies and buckeyes. I snake homemade vegetable soup and breads and pumpkin rolls. Fudge, and it’s all homemade at my house… I started in June this year. Normally I don’t do it, but I had a friend asked me to bring baked goods.”

Etters will be at the final farmers market next Saturday at the fairgrounds.
