Command Center reports sixth COVID-19 death in Muskingum County

ZANESVILLE, Ohio– The Muskingum County Joint Unified Command Center reported Thursday the sixth Muskingum County death from COVID-19.

This was an 86-year-old who died from COVID-19 induced acute respiratory distress syndrome.

The Muskingum County Joint Unified Command Center also reported Thursday that 20 more residents have tested positive for COVID-19.

Case 879 is a 62-year-old woman. Case 880 is a 45-year-old woman. Case 882 is a 35-year-old man. Case 886 is a 24-year-old woman. Case 889 is a 33-year-old woman. Case 890 is a 61- year-old man. Case 895 is a 75-year-old man. Case 896 is a 74-year-old woman. Case 897 is a 77-year-old woman. Case 898 is a 60-year-old man. Case 899 is a 48-year-old man. These cases are recovering at home and not connected to previous cases.

Case 881 is a 62-year-old man. Case 883 is a 21-year-old man. Case 885 is a 17-year-old boy. Case 888 is a 19-year-old woman. These cases are recovering at home and are connected to previous cases.

Case 884 is a 49-year-old man who is hospitalized and is not connected to previous cases. Case 887 is a 56-year-old woman. Case 891 is a 55-year-old woman. Case 892 is a 32-year-old woman. Case 893 is a 54-year-old woman. These cases are recovering at home and are connected to Primrose Retirement Community.

Case 894 is an 11-year-old boy. This is a probable case recovering at home and is connected to previous cases.
