Command Center reports 14 new cases of COVID-19 in Muskingum County

ZANESVILLE, Ohio–The Muskingum County Joint Unified Command Center reported Friday that fourteen Muskingum County residents have tested positive for COVID-19.

Case 408 is a 40-year-old woman. Case 409 is a 61-year-old woman. Case 410 is a 33-year-old woman. Case 411 is a 47-year-old man. Case 413 is a 41-year-old woman. Case 414 is 76- year-old man. Case 415 is a 61-year-old man. Case 416 is a 54-year-old man. Case 418 is a 12-year-old girl. Case 420 is 51-year-old woman. Case 421 is a 29-year-old woman. These cases are recovering at home and not connected to previous cases.

Case 417 is a 54-year-old man who is hospitalized and not connected to previous cases.

Case 412 is a 12-year-old girl connected to case 388. This case is recovering at home.

Case 419 is an 8-year-old girl connected to case 388. This is a probable case recovering at home.

The ZMCHD has recommended that the Eagles, American Legion and VFW temporarily close due to an outbreak of cases that are linked back to these establishments. There may be additional closure recommendations related to this outbreak as we complete case investigations and contract tracing.
