Local News

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Guernsey-Muskingum Valley Association of Realtors has announced their 2020 Realtor of the Year.

Amanda Hitchcock, a Realtor of 5 years with Lepi and Associates, was chosen to receive the honor this year. Steffanie Bush, CEO of the Guernsey-Muskingum Valley Association of Realtors explains how Realtor of the Year is chosen.

“Realtor of the year is just an exemplary Realtor within our board. One who stands out specifically in the community, who does well in sales, and is always just a standout basically. And they’re nominated by our board of directors and then it’s voted upon in the nominations.”

Hitchcock is very excited and appreciative of receiving this award. She goes on to explain a few of the many things she has done to warrant this achievement.

“I think it all started, I only had had my license for about 2 years and I was selected to go to the Ohio Realtor’s Leadership Academy. Which was a 9 month process I think it was. And I graduated from that. And then after that I’ve been serving on lots of local committees. I work on state committees for Ohio Realtors and I’m the first person from our board to serve on a national committee for the NAR.”

Bush commends Hitchcock for always being involved and for being a stand out Realtor in the community.
